Co-Owners and Founders of Pure Yoga/Pure Kitchen Ottawa
As Co-Founders and Owners’ of Pure Yoga and Pure Kitchen Amber Stratton have successfully built a brand that is known to Ottawa as not just a great yoga studio and restaurant, but a lifestyle. Pure Yoga first opened their doors in 2012. In under seven years Pure has grown into four yoga studios, and four Pure Kitchen Vegetarian Restaurants. In 2017 Pure Yoga has expanded to Liberty Village in Toronto and has built a successful Online Yoga Studio, “Pure Online.” The duos newest ventures include Ottawa’s hottest new bar and lounge, “Charlotte” and a women’s boutique clothing store, “Tallow.”
As a Yoga Teachers Amber and Jen have a combined 21 year of teaching experience and have over 2000 hrs of training in classical hatha and vinyasa yoga. Amber and Jen have been the leads on Pure Yogas 200hr Teacher Training since 2015 and also lead international yoga retreats in destinations including Costa Rica and Australia.
In 2014 Amber was named one of Ottawa’s Top Forty under 40. In 2017 Jen, Business women of the year. Both Jen and Amber have been voted and top yoga instructors in Ottawa and have been brand ambassadors for Lululemon since 2007. Amber was a keynote speaker in 2015 at The Queen’s University Women in Leadership Conference as a an expert on branding, a keynote speaker at The Ottawa Business Journal’s 2016 CEO talks and this year at Ottawa University’s Women Aspire conference.
Pure Yoga has been named “Best Yoga Studio” 4 times and in 2016 Pure Kitchen won the BOB Award for “Best New Business of the Year”.
The future of the Pure lifestyle brand is continues to grow expanding new ideas that fall under the health and wellness umbrella.
